We don't need guidelines from the CDF. We don't need anything from the Catholic Church when it comes to a crime. CALL THE POLICE if you're child is molested by a church official the same as you would if your child were molested by a stranger on the street! We wouldn't be in this mess if all these guilty priests had been thrown in jail after their first offense. The Bishops who helped conceal these crimes should be removed immediately and ANYBODY (including adult victims) who did not speak up to protect others should be ashamed allowing this child abuse to continue! NOBODY should get a free pass on this! The number is easy to remember: it's 911...NOT the parish church or bishop's office!

I'm glad to see Richmond Catholic back again! You will get more editorializing from them than from Richmond Voices.

I simply don't have time to devote to an editorializing blog. However, you will get more left of moderate info from me, so I guess there is room for both of us.

What do people like me (who are left of center on some issues and right of center on others; but, never in the center on anything)do?

Start your own blog?

Actually, I am probably to the right of moderate on some issues also...

Katie,
Stand firm and and be glad you are a Catholic. The Church has always encompassed extremes, as Chesterton observed in Orthodoxy.
